For Halloween, students came dressed up as characters from the other world, complete with pointed caps, black costumes, scary masks etc. 
The stage was decorated with cutouts of elves and witches and a massive pumpkin stood out. Angad Bali and Mrigank Chaddha, both appropriately dressed, explained to their schoolmates the stories associated with this celebration. Then came the turn of Sehaj Singh Chaddha and Ameya Malhotra to take the stage and talk about Gurupurab. An image of Guru Nanak Devji adorned the stage and the Mool Mantra "Ek Omkar, Satnaam" was recited.

Halloween's Day and Gurupurab were celebrated together in school on Friday, October 30, with stage performances by the students, even as the significance of these days was explained to the students.
The students then proceeded to the Gurudwara adjacent to the school, where they took part in a prayer to God, partook of the Kara Prasad and made their way back to the school. It was thus a fun filled-educative day indeed.
